Dior launched its new fragrance Sauvage in September 0f 2015, with the name originating from the fragrance Eau Sauvage from 1966 however the two don’t belong to the same collection. Sauvage is said to be inspired by wild, open spaces; blue sky that covers rocky landscapes, hot under the desert sun. I honestly have no idea what any of that means.
The face of the fragrance is actor Johnny Depp as seen in the video above. He’s been marketing the new fragrance but honestly this fragrance doesn’t need any big celebrity pushing it, it holds its own and it has quickly become one of my most favorited scents. The scent was created by Dior in house perfumer, François Demachy.
The Women love it, Men love it, and we consider it a fragrance that will definitely have people asking “What are you wearing?”and is sure to stop women in their tracks. It’s love at first sniff if you will. This is a signature scent type and very versatile. It projects masculine power. I imagine someone in boardroom wearing this. Someone who is in charge. The beauty of this fragrance is that you do not need confidence to wear it. The only prerequisite is to be a man and it’ll do the rest for you.
House of Parfum rates it 8/10. You can find this fragrance in 60 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.
