Gucci Guilty Absolute

collaboration between Alessandro Michele (creative director of the Gucci house) and master perfumer Alberto Morillas has led to a new perfume masterpiece for 2017 from the Italian based fashion powerhouse.

Gucci Guilty Absolute is intensified with three forms of patchouli oils and vetiver. At the top you have leather and patchouli. Extract from Nootka Cypress selected especially for Gucci Guilty Absolute and mixed with Leather accord and wood.

Not for the faint of heart. This is a masculine and much more mature fragrance. Adults over 35 will be able to pull this off much more than the younger crowd.

The ad campaign for this fragrance feels very wrong and off for this scent. I imagine someone much more older wearing this with more attitude. The Most Interesting Man in the World from the Dos Equis commercials would be fitting to give you an idea.  The reviews among people is mixed, you either love it or hate it. A fragrance you need to try before you buy and definitely not blind buy this for anyone. The intensity of the leather of this fragrance may not be for everyone.
It’s a game changer for Gucci, a brand that has been lacking in the fragrance world and this feels much more like a niche offering than their regular designer fragrances. Vetiver and Leather combo work along with the citrus and patchouli  together to create a really nice niche quality juice.

Gucci Guilty Absolute is a 7/10 scent.
