I have to admit the first time I came across this fragrance is all due to the beautiful packaging. Marc Jacobs does a great job of bottle design and presentation across his women’s fragrances.
Daisy launched in 2007 and quickly became one of my favorite women’s fragrances on the market. A definite signature scent for the dazzling and seductive woman who is also sophisticated and devoted. It’s floral yet woody but overall fresh and feminine. The nose behind this fragrance is Alberto Morillas.
It’s not a complex scent and not offensive. It’s perfect for the office, running errands, and going on a plane. You’re not going to offend anyone. But it’s also not very memorable. Should be reserved for bright sunny days, the beach and spring time. Not a night time hot date fragrance. You honestly can’t go wrong with this one and will fit any personality.
House of Parfum gives it an A+ for packaging, and an overall 7/10 for this fragrance. Since its launch, this fragrance has gotten a lot of flankers including the newest Marc Jacobs Daisy Kiss which just released in 2016.
