Created by Olivier Creed Sixth Generation and Erwin Creed Seventh Generation, the father and son tradition of the House of Creed continues to dazzle us with hand made scents. 2009 introduced us to Acqua Fiorentina, a fruity and floral fragrances featuring ingredients sourced from orchards in the Florence region.
Starts with Plum, Diamond Jubilee Apples and Pruneau at the top. The heart has a blooming rose, Pink Carnation, Calabrian lemon all on a warm base of Virginia cedarwood and Indian sandalwood.
This is a spring appropriate fragrance. The florals are perfect for it. For some, florals mixed with citrus doesn’t work on them. I’d caution you to sample this one out before you blind buy. Comparable to D&G Light Blue by some but for those with acute sense of smell they can tell the differences. Longevity is about 4 hours with great sillage.
The bottle has a beautiful floral embellishments along the sides. It’s a high quality fragrance, beautiful and full of spring/summer beauty. You will feel pretty wearing this, it’s just gorgeous and simply to die.
House of Parfum rating 7/10
